Career Path

Q: Describe your career path. How did you get into what you do now?
A: I learned everything I know from the 9 years I spent working for another tree company as a general foreperson. During that time, I was in charge of our maintenance pruning account. In 2014, I went to the Davey Institute of Tree Science where I learned quite a bit about the biology of trees. I am ISA certified and have my TRAQ certificate. My interests have varied over the years. I love pruning as it calms me but I also enjoy tree biology.

Q: Explain your position. Describe your role with the company.
A: I am currently on the sales team for ArborCare® but I am transitioning to a general foreperson.

Q: What is your favourite part about your job / working for the company?
A: My favourite part about my job is the opportunity to meet new people all the time!

Q: What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you most about your work?
A: I am really passionate about talking to people about trees. I also really enjoy pruning trees.

Q: Who has played an influential part during your time with the company & why?
A:  Terry Richard – He is so good at what he does and always willing to help out or answer any questions that arise.

A:  A professional company.

Hobbies, Interests & Influences

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
A: I like to climb trees, play with my kids, go camping, hiking and do woodwork.

Q: Who was the most influential person in your life?
A: My dad has always been a source of inspiration.

Q: What’s something about you that not many people know?
A: I am a pretty humble person.
